Luxembourg January 2025: BMW and Mercedes topple Volkswagen
BMW is the most popular carmaker in Luxembourg in January.
The Luxembourg new car market edges up 2.6% year-on-year in January to 3,720 units. BMW (+10.9%) scores a 4th win in the past 14 month with 12.8% share, its highest since December 2023 (14.4%). Mercedes (+30.5%) manages a splendid year-on-year gain to jump three spots on December to #2, both carmakers toppling last year’s leader Volkswagen (-11%). Audi is immobile at #4 and Skoda (-7.6%) closes the Top 5 in paltry fashion. Opel (+108%), Dacia (+59.4%), Kia (+54.4%) and Peugeot (+16.5%) all impress in the remainder of the Top 10.
