Iran Full Year 2024: Saipa Tiba #1, Iran Khodro Samand up, Saipa Sahand lands

It’s now time to share production data for Iran over the Full Year 2024. Note production figures are very close to sales data as exports are minimal. The market adds up to 992,102 units, off a worrying -13.9% over 2023. The Saipa Tiba (-19.8%) remains the most produced vehicle in the country despite falling faster than the market. Peugeot figures, still not available with model detail, freefall -43.5% on 2023 to just above 184,000 units vs. 326,000 last year. The Iran Khodro Samand surges 56.5% to land in third place, overtaking the Iran Khodro Dena (-10.5%) and Saipa Quick (-40%). Among recent launches, the Iran Khodro Tara (+26.8%) continues to progress at #7 whereas the Saipa Shahin (-3.1%) has plateaued already and falls two spots to #9.
