Northern Ireland (UK) Full Year 2024: Kia Sportage take charge in solid market (+8%)

48,994 new cars hit Northern Irish roads in 2024, a strong 8% year-on-year uptick. Keep in mind this is a zoom in by nation with the overall UK market covered in our UK Full Year 2024 update. This year the Kia Sportage (+73.9%) surges ahead to spectacularly take the lead of the models charts with 4% share. This is well above the Ford Puma (+8.5%) staying at #2 with an unchanged 2.8% share. The Hyundai Tucson (-7.8%), leader for the past three years, is down to #3. New entrants into the Top 10 for the year are the Vauxhall Corsa at #4, the Hyundai Kona at #6, the VW Golf at #7 and the VW T-Roc at #10.
