Morocco November 2024: Hyundai (+83%), Volkswagen (+62.9%) shine again
Hyundai sales in Morocco are up 83% year-on-year in November.
15,826 new light vehicles hit Moroccan roads in November for a 5th consecutive year-on-year uptick at +14.9%. In the detail, passenger cars are up 15,8% to 13,921 and light commercials grow 8.8% to 1,905. 136,741 new passenger cars found a buyer over the first 11 months of the year, up 5.7%. Dacia (+10%) manages a double-digit gain but sees its share thaw to 22.4% vs. 25.2% YTD. Renault (+0.5%) is stable which is a poor performance, yet it reaches 15.5% of the market vs. 15.2% so far this year. Like last month Hyundai (+83%) and Volkswagen (+62.9%) post stellar results, joined by Citroen (+86.1%), Skoda (+43.4%) and Opel (+35.9%) in the remainder of the Top 10. In contrast, Kia (-20.4%), Peugeot (-8.5%) and Audi (-2.2%) all lose ground. BYD (+1775%) scores the best performance in the market yet again and we welcome GWM directly at #17.
