Croatia November 2024: Suzuki Vitara and VW Golf top surging market
The Suzuki Vitara lodges its first victory in Croatia in almost 8 years.
4,022 new cars hit Croatian roads in November, a splendid 17.4% year-on-year improvement leading to a year-to-date tally up 12.9% to 60,164. This month Volkswagen (+55.4%) takes the lead of the brands charts thanks to a fantastic year-on-year lift to 13.3% share. YTD leader Skoda (-12.1%) struggles at #2 ahead of Suzuki (+96.9%) and Kia (+30%) both outpacing the market. Renault (+10.5%) is more shy and rounds out the Top 5 ahead of a sinking Toyota (-31%). Audi (+70.3%) and Hyundai (+48%) also impress below.
Looking at the models charts, the Suzuki Vitara (+372.5%) scores its first victory since January 2017 but stays at #5 year-to-date. The VW Golf (+637.5%) is up 8 spots on October to #2 vs. #16 so far this year. The VW T-Cross (+194.4%) completes a podium full of surreal gains. In contrast the Skoda Octavia (-32.4%) sinks to #4 however it remans the YTD best-seller. The Kia Stonic (+127.8%) jumps from outside the October Top 20 directly to 5th place vs. #15 so far this year. Great performance also by the VW Taigo (+42%) at #6. The MG HS cracks the Top 20 for the first time to land directly at #11.
