Singapore October 2024: Xpeng inside Top 10, registrations up 44.9%

Xpeng is in the Singapore Top 10 after three months in market.

3,407 new cars hit Singaporean roads in October, a splendid 44.9% year-on-year improvement. The year-to-date tally is now up 48.3% to 33,974. Toyota (+8.6%) vastly trails the market but lodges an impressive share nonetheless at 20.3%. BYD (+224.1%) returns to the 2nd place it holds year-to-date with 15% share vs. 13.4% so far in 2024. BMW (+62.5%) is up two spots on last month to #5, dislodging Mercedes (+7.4%) underperforming at 10.7% of the market. Hyundai (+168.6%) vastly outpaces the market at #6 as do Honda (+47.6%) and Kia (+47.4%) to a much lesser extent. Launched in the country just 3 months ago, Xpeng breaks into the Top 10 for the first time at #10 with 2.3% share. Notice also Zeekr up to #20.
