Luxembourg September 2024: Mini (+45.6%) stands out in negative market

Mini breaks into the Luxembourg Top 10 in September.

The Luxembourg new car market drops -6.7% year-on-year in September to 3,620 units. This leads to a year-to-date volume off -5.5% to 35,890. Volkswagen (+24.7%) defies the negative market and reclaims the top spot it holds year-to-date with 12.7% share. BMW (+20%) is also in great shape and stays in 2nd place. #1 a year ago and last month, Mercedes (-4.2%) still evolves way better than YTD at 10.2% share vs. 8.4% so far this year. Peugeot (+13.1%), Volvo (+4.2%), Skoda (+3.1%) and Audi (+0.4%) are also up but it’s Mini (+45.6%) that delivers the best performance in the Top 10 and is up 6 spots on last month to #9, scoring its first Top 10 finish since last November.
