North Macedonia August 2024: Skoda Scala best-seller, Dongfeng Fengon 500 inside Top 10

The Dongfeng Fengon 500 breaks into the Macedonian Top 10 in August.

According to our Eastern European partner CE Auto, new car sales in North Macedonia post another very strong month in August at +44.7% year-on-year to 502 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 40.9% to 5,024. This month the Skoda Scala (+266.7%) snaps the top spot, but stays stuck at #10 year-to-date vs. #6 over the Full Year 2023. The Ford Ranger scores its first Top 10 finish since December 2022 just as the Dacia Duster rallies back up to #3, still trailing its YTD ranking of #2. The Citroen C3 (-34.6%) stays at #4, equal with the Toyota Corolla (+240%). We have a new Chinese entrant inside the Top 10: the Dongfeng Fengon 500 lands at #7 with 2.6% of the market
