Moldova August 2024: Dacia Duster #1, Renault Master repeats inside Top 5

The Renault Master is #5 in Moldova in August.

Data by our Central European partner CE Auto shows a Moldovan new car market up 21.1% year-on-year in August to 940 sales. This leads to a year-to-date volume up 16.8% to 6,264 units. The Dacia Duster (+426.7%) surges ahead and confirms it is by far the favourite vehicle in the country with a solid 8.4% share. The Suzuki Vitara (+116.7%) is up four spots on last month to #2, distancing the Kia Sportage (-23.1%) and Toyota RAV4 (-35.9%) both in difficulty. The Renault Master lodges another outstanding month at #5 with 3.9% share yet doesn’t appear in the YTD Top 10 just yet. The Skoda Superb is up three ranks to #7 and the Geely Coolray stays at #8.
