Hungary October 2023: Suzuki S-Cross and Vitara lead, Ford Ranger up to #4
The Ford Ranger climbs to #4 in October.
8,402 Passenger Cars found a buyer in Hungary in October. The year-to-date PC+LCV tally edges down -0.6% year-on-year to 108,565 including 91,511 Passenger Cars (-2.7%) and 17,054 Light Commercials (+12.1%). In the year-to-date PC+LCV charts, Toyota dominates with 13.5% above Ford at 8.7%. The three following manufacturers, Volkswagen, Skoda and Suzuki, fit in just 22 sales and all account for 8.5% share. Year-to-date and for PC only, Toyota (+10.8%) leads here too with 13.4% share ahead of Skoda (+53.3%), Suzuki (-10.4%), Volkswagen (-14.6%) and Kia (-19.3%). In October and for PC only, Toyota, Suzuki and Skoda hold the first three positions.
In the models ranking for October, the Suzuki S-Cross (+8.3%) and Vitara (+29%) repeat at #1 and #2 respectively but still rank below the Skoda Octavia (-4.5%) in the year-to-date order. The Ford Ranger (+274.3% skyrockets to #4 vs. #13 so far this year, with the Toyota Corolla (+50.6%) also in outstanding shape. The Fiat 500 (+32.3%) climbs back up to #7 while the rest of the Top 10 in monopolised by Toyota with the Hilux (+280%), RAV4 (+30%) and C-HR (+352.6%) in tow.
