Germany Private Sales October 2023: Dacia Sandero best-seller, MG 4 up to #6

The October Private Sales (PS) ratio for the overall German market in October stands at 36.1%, equalling to 79,044 units out of a total market of 218,959. Ranking #7 last month and #19 in the overall ranking, the Dacia Sandero takes the lead this month with an outstanding 86.6% PS ratio. #1 in September, the Tesla Model Y (67.1% PS) is down to #15 for the month but stays #1 year-to-date. A surprise #1 in the overall market this month, the Fiat 500 lineup (35.8% PS) ranks at an equally impressive #2 in the PS charts. The VW T-Roc (40.1% PS) is down one spot to #3 whereas the Mini lineup (52% PS) is up one to #4. Excellent performance of the Mercedes GLC (66.6% PS) up 9 ranks on last month to #5. But the most surprising result of all is without a doubt the 6th place of the MG 4 with a 95.1% PS ratio and up from #37 in the overall ranking and #49 in the September PS ranking. The Skoda Enyaq is up 15 spots to #7, the Tesla Model 3 up 146 to #9 and the Dacia Spring up 15 to #10.
