Mauritius H1 2023: Suzuki up to 20.6% share

Suzuki is ultra dominant in Mauritius.

It’s another update on Mauritius as we now have access to H1 2023 data. 6,957 new vehicles found a buyer in the country over the period, a splendid 15.4% year-on-year progression on a record 2022 score. Suzuki widens the gap with the rest of the carmakers present in the market, during to 20.6% share vs. 11.8% for Toyota #2 again. Kia stays in third position vs. the Full Year 2022 with 9.7%, with Nissan up one spot to #4 and BMW up two to #5. In contrast Hyundai drops two ranks to #6 and Mitsubishi also to #8. Big gainers include Peugeot up from #16 over FY2022 to #11, Haval up from #17 to #14 and Perodua up from #23 to #17.
