Moldova May 2023: Dacia Duster now #1 year-to-date, sales up 17.7%

The Dacia Duster is the most popular vehicle in Moldova in May.

Data shared with us by our Central European partner CE Auto shows a Moldovan new car market up 17.7% to 819 registrations, bringing the year-to-date tally up 23.2% to 3,163 units. The Dacia Duster (+140%) reclaims the top spot and now also ranks #1 year-to-date, dethroning the Kia Sportage (+2.9%) down to #4 for the month. The Skoda Kodiaq (+200%) and Toyota RAV4 (-25.8%) complete the podium. The Dacia Logan (#5) and Sandero (#7) are the only passenger cars in the Top 10 with the rest being entirely composed of SUVs, notably the Geely Coolray at equal #9.
