Slovenia November 2022: VW T-Roc #1, market down -12.2%

The VW T-Roc is the best-selling vehicle in Slovenia in November.

3,623 new cars hit Slovenian roads in November, another harsh -12.2% year-on-year drop. Through November, the market is down -14.8% to 43,814 units. Volkswagen (+31.1%) braves the negative context to land a 17.8% market share, two percentage points above its YTD level. Skoda (-9%) stays in 2nd place while Renault (-35.6%) rallies back up five spots on last month to reclaim the #3 position it holds YTD. Opel (+27.2%), Citroen (+18%) and Audi (+8.2%) also gain ground year-on-year in the remainder of the Top 10. Below, Tesla (+283.3%), Jeep (+51.4%) and Mercedes (+36.8%) stand out.

Model-wise, the VW T-Roc (+29.8%) soars 15 ranks on October to land in the top spot and is now #2 year-to-date. This is the nameplate’s 2nd win this year after last April. The Renault Captur (+1.9%) is up one spot to #2 and the VW Polo (+52.9%) up 15 to #3. Leader last month, the Skoda Octavia (-37.7%) freefalls to #4 but holds onto the YTD pole position despite a -22.8% drop. The best-seller for over two decades, the Renault Clio (-65.9%) endures another mediocre mont at #13 overall and falls to #3 year-to-date as a result. Notice also the Citroen Berlingo (+242.1%), Kia Ceed (+195.5%) and VW Tiguan (+70%) very dynamic below.
