Cyprus November 2022: Market surges 62%, Volvo XC40 up to #2
The Volvo XC40 is up to #2 in Cyprus in November.
Based on data shared with us by SEMO Cyprus and INNOSOFT, the Cyprus new car market surges 62% year-on-year in November to 956 registrations, keeping in mind November 2021 was down -42.2% on the year prior. The year-to-date tally now stands at 10,851 units which is more than the Full Year 2021 figure (10,624) and up 7.1% year-on-year. The Toyota Yaris (+7.7%) keeps the top spot it holds year-to-date but is relatively weak at 4.4% share. Three models follow at equal #2 with the same sales figure: the Kia Ceed (+333.3%), Stonic (+39.3%) and Volvo XC40 (+143.8%). The Renault Captur (+56.5%) rounds out the Top 5 ahead of the Kia Rio (+183.3%) and Picanto (+2800%). The Hyundai Tucson (+145.5%) and Audi Q3 (+100%) also shine in the remainder of the Top 10.
