Chinese fares MG (+61.7%) and Maxus (+64.2%) also defy the negative market and climb to #6 (+2) and #7 (+8) respectively. Ford (+12.6%) is also up to round out the Top 10 while Kia (-22.5%) manages to resist better than the market at #5. #3 in September, Chery (-54.1%) loses more than half its year-ago volume and falls to #9. Further down, notice Dongfeng (+46.7%), Citroen (+256.5%) and Opel (+194.9%) all lodging spectacular upticks. As a whole, Chinese carmakers fall -24.1% to 31% share vs. 33.3% year-to-date.
