Poland June 2022: Toyota C-HR repeats at record #2 in market down -8.5%
The Toyota C-HR repeats at a record 2nd place in Poland in June.
The Polish new car market is down -8.5% year-on-year in June to 38,569 sales, bringing the H1 volume down -12.7% to 207,419. Toyota (+2.2%) continues to dominate the brands ranking head and shoulders with 17.8% share this month. Skoda (-4.8%) rallies back up two spots on May to #2, a ranking it now also holds year-to-date. Volkswagen (+0.3%) drops to #3 ahead of Kia (-22.3%) and Hyundai (-1.4%). Mercedes (+40.3%) manages the largest gain in the Top 10 above BMW (+15.3%) and Dacia (+4.5%).
Over in the models charts, the Toyota Corolla (+6.1%) retains the top spot with 5.1% share, in line with the 5.3% it holds over H1. The Toyota C-HR (+78.4%) manages the largest year-on-year gain in the Top 15 to repeat at a record 2nd place overall. The Dacia Duster (-13.4%) rallies back up 11 spots on May to round out the podium, distancing the Hyundai i30 (+9.2%) and Toyota Yaris (-11.1%). The Toyota RAV4 (-26.7%) and Skoda Octavia (-21.5%) have a hard time ahead of the Kia Sportage (-1.9%) limiting its fall, the Hyundai Tucson (-3.6%) and the Dacia Sandero (+32.9%) storming from outside the May Top 50 directly into 10th place. The Toyota Yaris Cross is the best-selling recent launch at #14 above the Dacia Jogger at #29.
