China LCV Full Year 2021: Wuling #1, Foton Light Truck best-seller in market down -4%

Wuling remains the #1 LCV brand at home, even though the Mini Truck is toppled from #1.

According to LMC data, new Light Commercial Vehicles drop -4% year-on-year in 2021 to 3,510,100 units. Wuling remains the most popular brand despite losing -18% year-on-year whereas Foton (-3.3%) manages to keep its loss to a minimum. Dongfeng (-0.8%) is stable in third place above Changan (+10.2%) and Great Wall (+3.6%) both moving in the right direction. Maxus (+22.5%) posts by far the largest gain in the Top 10 whereas CNHTC (-35.8%) is the biggest loser. Model-wise, the Foton Light Truck (-5.1%) overtakes the Wuling Mini Truck (-26.2%) with the Dongfeng Light Truck (-0.6%) remaining in 3rd place.
