North Macedonia October 2021: Kia Sportage now #1 YTD, Skoda Superb soars to #2 in market off -19.6%
The Skoda Superb holds 11.1% of the North Macedonian market in October.
Based on data shared with us by our Central European partner CE Auto, new car sales in North Macedonia drop -19.6% year-on-year in October to just 406 units, keeping in mind October 2020: was already down -18.4% on the year prior. The year-to-date volume now stands at 4,499 sales, up 8.4% on 2020. The Kia Sportage (+433.3%) breaks its share record for the 2nd month in a row at 11.8% and takes the year-to-date lead in the process, toppling the Citroen C3 (-76.5%). The surprise of the month is delivered by the Skoda Superb with a mammoth 11.1% share in 2nd place. It distances the Hyundai Tucson and Toyota Corolla, both up 80% to equal #3. The Citroen C4, Suzuki Vitara and Hyundai i10 also make a rare appearance in the North Macedonian Top 10.
