Israel October 2021: Kia (+155.6%) up to record 21.6% share in market up 29%

Kia scores a third consecutive pole position in Israel this month.

Thanks to our partnership with cartube.co.il, we can share with you today October brands sales data for Israel, models data is a quarterly occurrence. New car sales in the country return to frank positive this month at +29% year-on-year to 18.784 registrations, leading to a year-to-date tally up a whopping 37.2% to 267.684. Kia (+155.6%) is in surreal shape and posts a third consecutive month in pole position with an ultra-dominant 21.6% share, by far the highest we’ve seen for the brand since we started following this market monthly in 2013. Although it remains #3 year-to-date, Kia is now within throwing distance of Toyota (-31.4%) itself in great difficulty in October at #3. Hyundai (+4.5%) only edges up in 2nd place with 15.1% share, in line with its YTD level. The rest of the Top 10 bar Skoda (-23.9%) all deliver outstanding year-on-year gains, with Subaru (+160.1%) and Citroen (+113.4%) the most dynamic followed by Nissan (+88.5%), Suzuki (+73.3%) and Mazda (+57%). Further down, notice Isuzu (+750%), MG (+143%), Jeep (+139.2%) and Lexus (+111.9%) standing out.
