Cyprus October 2021: Kia Sportage tops market up 5.2%, Top 10 is 100% SUV
The Kia Sportage is the best-selling vehicle in Cyprus in October.
According to data shared with us by SEMO Cyprus and INNOSOFT, the Cyprus new car market continues to go against the European trend with a year-on-year gain of 5.2% to 814 registrations. This leads to a year-to-date tally up 13.1% to 9,403 units. This month the Kia Sportage (+50%) takes the top spot with 6.6% share, distancing the Hyundai Tucson (stable) and September’s leader the Kia Stonic (+70.4%). The Toyota C-HR (+21.2%), Ford Puma (+236.4%) and VW T-Roc (+135.7%) follow, all performing formidably. Below the Nissan Juke (-19.4%), the Toyota RAV4 (+60%), Audi Q3 (+130%) and Nissan Qashqai (+10%) make sure the Top 10 is 100% SUV exactly like a year ago in October 2020. Other great performers below include the Kia Rio (+425%), Kia Ceed (+183.3%), Toyota Yaris (+128.6%) and Volvo XC40 (+125%).
