New light vehicle sales in Turkey are up 132.4% year-on-year in April to 61.488 units. Fiat (+131.7%) almost exactly matches the market growth to easily retain the brands top spot at 14.2% share. Volkswagen (+175.4%) is ahead of the market and cements its 2nd place at 11.6% share vs. 10.9% so far this year. Renault (+114.7%) is a little shy in third place, distancing Ford (+134.2%), Toyota (+2968.9%) up on a devastated April 2020 score, Hyundai (+274.9%), Dacia (+297.1%) and Honda (+488.8%) all outpacing the market. Peugeot (-38.2%) is actually down year-on-year at #9 as it led the market outright a year ago, while Citroen (+46.1%) also underperforms. Further down, Skoda (+602.9%), Kia (+493%), Nissan (+306.7%), BMW (+261.7%) and Mitsubishi (+243.8%) stand out. Over in the models ranking, the Fiat Egea (+178.7%) and Toyota Corolla (+4224%) remain the best-sellers overall, followed this time by the Renault Megane (+355.7%) and Clio (+41.9%).
