Serbia March 2021: Skoda Fabia takes control of market up 71.4%

The Skoda Fabia is now #1 year-to-date in Serbia.

According to data by our Central European data partner CE Auto, new car sales in Serbia are up 71.4% year-on-year to 2.916 units, tilting the year-to-date tally into positive at +5.9% to 6.243. Keep in mind March 2020 volumes were down -42.6% on the year prior and March 2021 sales almost return to the level of two years ago in March 2019 (2.962). This month the Skoda Fabia (+463.3%) surges to the top spot both in March with 9.5% share and year-to-date with 6.6%, relegating the Fiat 500L to 2nd place at 3.7% and 5.2% respectively. The Citroen C3 is up four spots on February to #3 overall, distancing the Fiat Tipo (+112.8%), Kia Sportage and Skoda Superb (+47.6%). The Dacia Duster (+187%) and Skoda Scala (+17%) return to the Serbian Top 10.
