Moldova February 2021: Dacia Duster and Skoda Kodiaq top market off -3%
The Dacia Duster is the best-selling vehicle in Moldova in February.
Based on data shared by our Central European market data partner CE Auto, new car sales in Moldova slow down their fall in February at just -3% year-on-year to 385 units, leading to a year-to-date volume off -11.9% to 739. The Dacia Duster (+114.3%) more than doubles its sales year-on-year to top the models charts for the third time in the past 6 months. The Top 4 is entirely composed of SUVs, with the Skoda Kodiaq (+13.6%), Hyundai Tucson (+53.8%) and Toyota RAV4 (-9.5%) following the Duster. Traditional leader up to 2019, the Dacia Logan (-38.5%) drops to 5th place for the month. The Skoda Superb (+57.1%), Dacia Dokker (+20%) and Suzuki Vitara (+11.1%) also shine in the remainder of the Top 10.
