Bulgaria February 2021: Toyota takes control in market down -17%

Toyota is the best-selling carmaker in Bulgaria in February.

New car sales in Bulgaria fall -17% year-on-year in February to 2.063 units, leading to a year-to-date tally down -18.6% to 4.248 sales. Toyota (-3.4%) takes control of the brands ranking both for the month and year-to-date with 12.5% share each time. Skoda (-11.8%) is up one spot on last month to #2 with 10.9% of the market while Dacia (-23.7%) drops two ranks to #3 for the month, now ranking #2 year-to-date. Citroen (+43.3%), Mercedes (+42.1%) and Kia (+18.8%) all ignore the depleted market conditions and post fantastic gains. Model-wise, the podium is unchanged on January with the Dacia Dokker in the lead followed by the Toyota Corolla and Citroen C3. The Skoda Octavia overtakes the Dacia Duster to rank #4 and the Toyota Yaris is up 9 spots to #8.
