Mauritius Full Year 2020: Toyota repeats at #1 in market down -22.9%

Toyota is the best-selling manufacturer in Mauritius in 2020.

The Mauritius new vehicle market is down -22.9% year-on-year in 2020 to just 8,711 units. Toyota (-21.8%) falls slightly slower than the marker to hold onto the brands top spot with 13.5% share. It distances Kia (-16.7%) and Nissan (-36.4%) exchanging spots vs. last year. Mitsubishi (-6.4%) resists well to climb two spots on 2019 to #4. BMW (-10.5%) and Mercedes (-11.9%) are the only additional Top 10 members to beat the market whereas Hyundai (-44.8%), Mazda (-32.7%), Suzuki (-30.5%) and Renault (-27.7%) all sink. MG appears directly at #16.
