Belgium November 2020: BMW leads, Aiways lands, sales off -15.8%

Aiways has landed in Belgium.

The Belgian new car market is down -15.8% year-on-year in November to 29.103 units, leading to a year-to-date tally down -22.3% to 401.413. BMW (+3.7%) leaps up 3 spots on last month to sign a 4th monthly win for the year after January, April and August. It topples last month’s leader Peugeot (-5.1%) while at #3 Mercedes (+39.9%) posts by far the largest gain in the Top 15. Audi (+9.6%) is also up at #4 but the remainder of the Top 17 is down, with Skoda (-5.4%), Volvo (-10.1%) and Seat (-10.5%) resisting best. This month we welcome Chinese carmaker Aiways in the Belgian charts at #35 with 20 units of its U5 SUV registered in November.
