Luxembourg October 2020: Mercedes repeats at #1, hits 13.5% share in market down -18.6%

Mercedes is the #1 carmaker in Luxembourg for the 2nd month running.

New car sales in Luxembourg drop -18.6% year-on-year in October on strong year-ago volumes to 3.980 units, leading to a year-to-date tally down -20.7% to 38.026. Mercedes (-18.2%) matches the market evolution and repeats at #1 with a fantastic 13.5% share, a full three percentage points above its YTD level of 10.5% but Volkswagen (-14.1%) retains the YTD lead by far at 11.4% share. Hyundai (+13.8%) is the only Top 10 carmaker in positive while Audi (-0.9%), Fiat (-9%), Ford (-12.8%) and Skoda (-14.7%) also resist.
