North Macedonia August 2020: Citroen C3 leads, Mitsubishi Space Star soars to #2 in market down -32.1%

The Mitsubishi Space Star soars to 2nd place in North Macedonia in August.

Based on data by our Eastern European partner CE Auto, new car sales in North Macedonia flip back into negative in August at -32.1% to 412 units, leading to a year-to-date tally down -34.4% to 3.224. The Citroen C3 (-19.2%) reclaims the top spot it holds YTD while the Mitsubishi Space Star soars to 2nd place overall, only its second Top 10 finish in North Macedonia in the past 6 years alongside last April (#5). The Skoda Octavia (+16.7%) defies the market slump and leaps up two spots on July to equal #3 with the Hyundai Tucson, with the Opel Astra rounding out the Top 5. The Citroen C5 Aircross, Peugeot 208 and 2008 also point their bonnet into the North Macedonian Top 10 for the month.
