Bosnia & Herzegovina August 2020: VW Crafter and Skoda Scala on podium, sales down a moderate -13.4%

According to our Central European market data partner CE Auto, the Bosnian new car market drops -13.4% year-on-year in August to 590 units, leading to a year-to-date tally down -28.1% to 5.319. The Skoda Octavia (-26.7%) remains the most popular vehicle in the country, but this time it is followed by the VW Crafter at 5.3% share scoring its 2nd Top 10 finish in the past 4 months and the Skoda Scala at 5.1% for its first ever Bosnian podium and 2nd ever Top 10 finish after last April. The Hyundai Tucson (-17.4%) drops two spots on July to #4, the VW Golf (-19%) remains at #5 while the VW Caddy (+250%), Renault Clio (+550%) and VW Passat (+333.3%) all post spectacular gains to rank #6, #7 and equal #7 respectively. The VW Tiguan secures its first Bosnian Top 10 finish.
