Estonia July 2020: Hyundai (+39.7%), Peugeot (+23.7%), Citroen (+16.2%) shine in market down -19.1%
The Skoda Kamiq breaks into the Estonian Top 10 for the first time in July.
New car sales in Estonia slow down their fall to -19.1% in July to 2.057 units, still one of the largest declines in Europe. The year-to-date tally now stands at 11.447, down -33.1% on the same period last year. Toyota (-11.1%) easily wins the brands race with 19.9% vs. 14.1% for Skoda (-15.7%) just as Renault (-47.4%) freefalls in third place. Hyundai (+39.7%), Peugeot (+23.7%) and Citroen (+16.2%) all post very impressive double-digit gains in the remainder of the Top 10, while further down Tesla (+1300%), BMW (+95.7%), Porsche (+92.3%) and Mazda (+22.9%) stand out. Model-wise, the Toyota Corolla (-6.2%) reclaims the top spot above the Toyota RAV4 (-10.4%) with the Skoda Octavia (-22.7%) in tow. The Citroen Berlingo (+18.3%) and Kia Ceed (+19.6%) round out the Top 5 in spectacular fashion, the Skoda Kamiq breaks into the Estonian Top 10 for the first time at #7 and the Toyota Yaris surges 44.4% to #10.
