London (UK) First Half 2020: Tesla Model 3 takes control

The Tesla Model 3 is the best-selling vehicle in London so far in 2020.

Thanks to our partnership with SMMT, we can now share with you today H1 2020 new car sales data in Greater London. The market dives -46% year-on-year to 25.286 units, a slightly better hold than the UK overall (-48.5%). After winning 4 of the last 5 months of 2019 and ending last year at #8, the Tesla Model 3 logically takes control of the Londonian charts in 2020 with 2.6% share, toppling the Mercedes A-Class (-51.3%). The Toyota Yaris (-51.2%) and the VW Golf (-44%) follow like a year ago whereas the Ford Fiesta (-57.5%) sinks from #1 over H1 2019 to #5 so far this year. The Kia Niro makes its entrance inside the London Top 10 at #9.
