Serbia May 2020: Renault Clio repeats at #1 in market down -43.9%

The Renault Clio is the best-seller in Serbia for the 2nd month running.

According to data shared with us by our Central European data partner CE Auto, new car sales in Serbia fall -43.9% year-on-year in May to 2.123 units, pulling the year-to-date volume down -38.9% to 8.950. The Renault Clio (-9.3%) vastly outperforms the market to repeat at #1 and cement its newfound YTD leadership at 4.6% share thanks to sales up 25.5% over the same period in 2019. The Skoda Fabia (-40.4%) surges back up to #2 and also snaps the #2 YTD spot off the Skoda Octavia (-52.3%) bumped down to #3 both in May and YTD. The Fiat Tipo (-21%) also resists well and climbs up to #4 vs. #5 so far in 2020, while the Kia Sportage, Fiat Ducato, Renault Megane, Toyota Yaris and Lada 4×4 all advance inside the Top 10 for the month.
