Latvia May 2020: Toyota RAV4 leads, Peugeot 3008 shines in market down -57.9%

The Peugeot 3008 swims upstream in May with a year-on-year gain.

New car sales in Latvia drop -57.9% year-on-year in May to 744 units, pulling the year-to-date volume down -32.7% to 5.297. The Toyota RAV4 (-55.1%) cements the top spot it also holds year-to-date, distancing the Skoda Octavia (-51.5%), VW Passat (-63.2%) and Toyota Corolla (-74.8%). The Peugeot 3008 (+11.1%) posts the only year-on-year gain in the Top 10 while the Peugeot 308 remains at a fantastic 3rd place year-to-date with sales up a gargantuan 1027.8% over the same period in 2018 just as the 3008 is up 120%…
