Toyota sales are down just -18% in a market down -48.2%
11/06 update: Now with Top 10 models for Q1 2020.
New car sales in Lithuania fall off -48.2% year-on-year in March to 3.638 registrations, tilting the year-to-date tally into negative at -14.2% to 15.254 units. Fiat (-52.4%) easily holds onto the brands top spot at 22.9% share, albeit at a much lower level as year-to-date where it holds 31.1% of the Lithuanian market. Toyota (-18%) resists best in the Top 5 to 6.7% share while Volkswagen (-39.9%) is back above Jeep (-69.7%) and Skoda (-34%) rounds out the Top 5. Model-wise, the Fiat 500 (+19.6%), Tipo (+18.6%) and Jeep Renegade (-12.5%) top the Q1 charts but are all completely re-exported, in fact the Toyota RAV4 (+54.3%) and Corolla (+122.2%) are the “real” best-sellers in Lithuania over the period.
