UK January 2020: Now with Top 120 models
The Ford Puma has landed inside the UK Top 30.
Granted, it’s January figures but BSCB can now share with you a Top 120 models ranking for the UK, a traditionally very secretive market outside its Top 10 models, in an endeavour to cover UK sales charts a lot more extensively. Beyond the well-known Top 10, the Mercedes GLA shoots up from #31 over the FY2019 to #14 this month, the Toyota Corolla is up from #51 to #16, the Honda Jazz up from #44 to #17, the Vauxhall Crossland X up from #47 to #18 and the Seat Leon up from #31 to #19.
The Toyota RAV4 evolves 50 ranks above its FY2019 level in January.
The Ford Puma lands directly at #27, the Toyota RAV4 surges from #79 in the Full Year 2019 to #29 in January, the Audi Q5 from #64 to #35, the MG ZS from #87 to #40 and the Nissan Leaf from #114 to #51. Among other recent launches, the Mazda CX-30 ranks #66, the VW T-Cross is at #68, the Lexus UX at #98, the Skoda Scala at #104 and the Skoda Kamiq at #113. The Land Rover Defender has landed back in the UK but remains outside the Top 120 for its first month. In contrast models that were artificially pushed in December freefall this month, such as the Mini down from #8 in FY2019 to #43 and the Ford Kuga down from #7 to #65.
