San Marino Full Year 2019: VW, Suzuki and Audi keep Fiat out of podium in market down -7.1%

New car sales in San Marino, a country landlocked within Italy, drop -7.1% year-on-year in 2019 to 1.156 registrations. Volkswagen (-6.7%) remains by far the most popular brand in the country with 15.6% share, and this year Suzuki (+12.6%) climbs to a fantastic 2nd place overall with 11.6% share while Audi (+10.2%) steps onto the podium at #3 with 11.2% of the market. The biggest loser in 2019 is Fiat (-48.1%) down from 10.5% to 5.9% share in 4th place. Dacia (+5.1%) and Mercedes (+2.8%) are the only two additional Top 10 carmakers in positive. Further down, Tesla (+800%), Hyundai (+84.6%), Honda (+57.1%), Mazda (+50%), Citroen (+39.1%), Jaguar (+28.6%), Volvo (+16.7%) and Mini (+13.3%) stand out.
