Estonia January 2020: Toyota RAV4 teases 10% share in market down -1.4%
The Toyota RAV4 is the most popular vehicle in Estonia in January.
The Estonian new car market slips down -1.4% year-on-year in January to 2.294 registrations. Toyota (+100%) blissfully ignores this and exactly doubles its sales year-on-year to reach 20% share vs. 16% over the FY2019. Skoda (+1.6%) is stable in 2nd place above Renault (+22.9%), replicating the 2019 podium. Kia (+33.1%) leaps up 4 spots on December to land at #4, distancing Volkswagen (-19.7%), Peugeot (-2.9%), Citroen (-36.8%) and Dacia (-23.1%). Mercedes (+45.8%) also impresses in the remainder of the Top 10. Model-wise, the Toyota RAV4 (+339.2%) multiplies its January 2019 volume by 4 to reach 9.8% share vs. 6% over the FY2019, knocking down last month’s leader the Renault Clio (+72.5%) with the Skoda Octavia (+37.3%), Toyota Corolla (+234.5%) and Kia Ceed (+93%) in tow. The Dacia Duster (+93.5%), VW Passat (+20%) and Toyota C-HR (+14.6%) are the other great performers in the Top 10.
