Latvia October 2019: Skoda Karoq shines in market up 19.9%

The Skoda Karoq is now among the Latvian year-to-date Top 10.

The Latvian new car market surges 19.9% year-on-year in October to 1.570 registrations, leading to a year-to-date tally up 8.4% to 15.679. The Toyota Corolla (+725%) remains the most popular nameplate in the country, this time ahead of the Nissan Qashqai (+55%) and VW Golf (+60%) whereas the Toyota RAV4 (-15.6%) is losing steam but stays at #2 YTD. The Skoda Karoq is estimated to break into the October Top 5 and cracks the YTD Top 10 as a result at #9, joining the Octavia (#5) and Kodiaq (#10).
