China LCV October 2019: Changan (+32%), Great Wall (+22%) lift market up 5.5%

Changan LCV sales shoot up 32% year-on-year in October.

Light Commercial Vehicle wholesales soar 5.5% year-on-year in October to 278.589 units for a second straight year-on-year gain, meaning the year-to-date tally is now down just -4% to 2.605.296. Market leader Wuling (-6%) is the only Top 6 brand in negative but easily remains the most popular with 18.000 unit-advantage over #2 Foton (+13%). All remaining brands in the Top 6 post stellar double-digit gains, with Changan (+32%) the most dynamic followed by Great Wall (+22%), Dongfeng (+18%) and JAC (+13%). Ford (+20%) and Maxus (+16%) also shine further down. The Top 3 best-selling models are unchanged on last month and year-to-date, with the Wuling Mini Truck (+3%) still in command.
