Belgium November 2019: Peugeot (+24.4%), Audi (+70%) stand out in market up 2.2%

The new 208 is potentially helping Peugeot sales up in Belgium.

New car sales in Belgium step up 2.2% year-on-year in November to 34.574 registrations, leading to a year-to-date tally down -1.9% to 516.542. Volkswagen (+5.8%) remains in the brands lead with a round 10% share above Peugeot (+24.4%) posting the largest gain in the Top 4 to 9.2% share vs. 7.8% so far in 2019. BMW (+2.4%) remains at a very strong third place with 8.6% of the Belgian market vs. 6.6% YTD while Renault (-10%) is up one spot to #4 and Audi (+70%) recovers from paltry year-ago post-WLTP sales. Mazda (+68.8%), Citroen (+26.6%), Hyundai (+17%) and Fiat (+16.8%) also impress further down while among smaller brands Porsche (+390.2%), Tesla (+228.1%), Smart (+68.4%), Ssangyong (+50%) and Maserati (+42.9%) are the most dynamic.
