Ukraine September 2019: Renault (+65.4%), Kia (+43.1%) lift market up 5.6%
Renault Logan sales soar 64.9% year-on-year in Ukraine in September.
The Ukrainian new car market is up 5.6% year-on-year in September to 7.157 units, lifting the year-to-date tally up 2.4% to 61.723 units, the largest 9 month-volume since 2014 but still 63% below the pre-Crimean crisis 2013 tally at this stage of the year (164.750). Renault (+65.4%) surges to 16.1% share vs. 15.2% year-to-date, distancing Toyota (+15.4%), Kia (+43.1%), Hyundai (+17.2%) and Skoda (+8%) in a Top 5 brilliantly and strikingly entirely outpacing the market. Seat (+286.3%), Ravon (+260%), Opel (+94.7%), Mini (+83.3%), Land Rover (+75%), Audi (+72.5%), Jeep (+36.4%), Lada (+15.8%), BMW (+13.9%) and Volvo (+12.3%) shine further down.
Model-wise, the Kia Sportage (+80.9%) solidly holds onto the top spot with 7.7% share, well above the Renault Logan (+64.9%) at 4.9%, the Renault Duster (+6.8%) at 4.6% and the Toyota Prado (+195.4%) at 4.5%. The Renault Sandero (+255.8%), Hyundai Accent (+132.7%), Skoda Kodiaq (+112.3%) and Nissan X-Trail (+44.2%) also shine.
