Latvia June 2019: Toyota Corolla now #1 YTD

The Toyota Corolla is #1 in Latvia over H1 2019.

New car sales in Latvia drop -6.7% year-on-year in June to 1.612 units, yet the H1 volume easily remains in positive any +4.6% to 9.485. The Toyota Corolla is up 4-fold on the previous generation sedan to easily hold onto the monthly top spot at a fantastic 9.2% share, by the same token earning the YTD pole position whereas it only ranked #4 after 5 months. The Toyota RAV4 (+21.4%) is up one spot on May to #2, the Skoda Octavia (+4%) is up two to #5, the Skoda Kodiaq (+69%) up 6 to #4 and the VW Tiguan (+32.4%) down 3 to #5. The Dacia Duster (+36.4%) also impresses at #6.
