The Kazakh new vehicle market scores a splendid 5th consecutive double-digit year-on-year gain in July at +35.1% to 7.056 units, pushing the YTD volume up 20.8% to 39.134. After Hyundai scooped its first ever brands pole position in June, Toyota (+22.8%) wrestles the #1 spot back for just 8 units above Lada (+14.3%) and 41 ahead of Hyundai (+96.9%) which remains the most dynamic of the three carmakers all settling around 20% share. Ravon (+1811.8%) exports out of neighbouring Uzbekistan have resumed and as such the brand is climbing back the Kazakh charts, now #4. Kamaz (+182.6%), Skoda (+71.4%) and UAZ (+54.1%) also manage to outpace the market in the remainder of the Top 10 just as Nissan (-9%) posts the only decline.
Model-wise, the Toyota Camry (+46.4%) cements its domination with 8.8% share, consistent with its YTD level of 9.3% and distancing the Lada Granta (+14.6%), Vesta (+77%), Hyundai Tucson (+60.5%) and Elantra (+100.6%). The Lada 4×4 aka Niva (+31.3%) remains strong at #6, the Ravon Nexia R3 is up 3 spots on June to #7 but lags at #18 so far in 2019, while the Hyundai Creta (+146.3%), Accent (+57%) and Toyota Corolla (+92%) are all on fire in the tail end of the Top 10.
