Lithuania May 2019: Fiat 500 back in charge in market up 48.6%

The Fiat 500 is the best-seller in Lithuania for the first time since last December.

Based on data shared by our partner JATO Dynamics, the Lithuanian new car market soars 35.3% year-on-year in May to 4.245 units, leading to a year-to-date volume up 48.6% to 18.940. Best-seller in Lithuania for the past 7 years but absent from the Top 10 so far in 2019, the Fiat 500 makes a thunderous reentrance among Lithuania’s best-sellers in May, shooting directly to #1 with 5.7% share despite a -37.8% year-on-year drop. The Toyota RAV4 (+53.7%) easily remains the YTD #1, with the Toyota Corolla (+86.7%) and Renault Clio (+88.5%) also impressive further down.
