Lithuania April 2019: VW Golf surges ahead in market up 42.2%

The VW Golf is the best-seller in Lithuania in April.

According to our partner JATO Dynamics, new car sales in Lithuania soar 42.2% year-on-year in April to 4.450 units, leading to a year-to-date volume up 53% to 14.695. The VW Golf (+189.7%) is up 4 spots on March to take the lead at 4.4% share, dethroning the Toyota RAV4 (+89%) which however remains the YTD best-seller. Inside the Top 10, the Toyota Corolla (+217.8%), Nissan Qashqai (+97.1%), Renault Clio (+54.9%), VW Tiguan (+24.6%) and Toyota C-HR (+21.5%) also outpace the market.
