Croatia April 2019: Opel Grandland X breaks into Top 10 in market back up 22.5%
The Opel Grandland X makes its first appearance inside the Croatian Top 20 and Top 10 in April.
The Croatian new car market spectacularly bounces back up 22.5% year-on-year in April to 8.633 registrations, meaning the year-to-date volume is now down just -0.5% at 20.772. Renault (+29.9%) steps up to the #1 brand spot at 13.4% share but only for 12 units above Opel (+31%) with Skoda (+56.5%) rounding up the podium and Volkswagen (-7.7%) knocked down 3 spots on March to #4. Dacia (+105%) more than doubles its deliveries to remain at #5, with Citroen (+105.2%) and Nissan (+65.6%) also sporting fantastic gains in the remainder of the Top 10. Below, Fiat (+616.7%), Land Rover (+342.9%), Volvo (+116.7%), Jeep (+102.6%), Smart (+81%), Kia (+44.8%) and Ford (+36.7%) stand out. The Renault Clio (+16.7%) topples the Skoda Octavia (+43.7%) to take the models ranking lead for the month but remains #2 YTD while just below the Opel Astra (+202.8%) and Dacia Sandero (+410.5%) both soar up. The Opel Grandland X (+551.4%) breaks into the Croatian Top 20 and Top 10 for the very first time at #10, with the Citroen C3 (+135%), Renault Captur (+90.9%), VW T-Roc (+88.2%), Skoda Fabia (+86.8%) and Nissan Qashqai (+79.1%) also scoring extravagant gains.
