Bulgaria April 2019: Dacia, Opel, Ford sail off in market up 16.1%
Dacia sales soar 34.9% year-on-year in Bulgaria in April.
The Bulgarian new car market soars 16.1% year-on-year in April to 4.153 units, lifting the year-to-date volume up 6.4% to 14.442. Dacia (+34.9%) manages to growth twice as fast as the market to cement its leadership at 13.5% share, distancing Skoda (-1.9%) up one spot on March to bypass Renault (-29%). Opel (+332%) multiplies its April 2018 sales by 4 and is up 7 spots on last month to #4. Ford (+79.2%) and Volkswagen (+23.3%) also outpace the market in the remainder of the Top 10, while further down Honda (+3900%), Suzuki (+284.8%), Fiat (+87.1%), Seat (+83.3%), Jeep (+76.9%), Mercedes (+41.1%) and BMW (+31.9%) stand out. This month we welcome Chinese carmaker Haval in the Bulgarian ranking at #27 vs. #34 for Great Wall.
