Bulgaria March 2019: Dacia (+24.6%), Renault (+10.7%) on top, Land Rover up thanks to police border fleet

Border police fleet sales propel Land Rover sales up 7-fold year-on-year.

New car sales in Bulgaria edge down -1.1% year-on-year in March to 3.707 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 1.5% to 10.289. Dacia (+24.6%) and Renault (+10.7%) buck the negative trend with splendid double-digit gains, whereas Skoda (-13.6%) struggles in third place. Land Rover (+615.4%) thanks to a border police fleet delivery, Seat (+330%), Suzuki (+310%) and Citroen (+215.3%) all post extravagant gains in the remainder of the Top 20, with Opel (+57.1%) also in great shape.
