Poland November 2018: Mercedes (+73%), Ford (+30%) help keep market afloat
The Fiesta (+154%) helps Ford up 30% in Poland in November.
While the rest of the European Union is still reeling from post-WLTP blues, Poland enjoys a second consecutive uptick with November sales up 4.6% to 49.725 units, leading to a year-to-date volume up 11.2% to a record-breaking 548.278 sales. The entire brands podium manages double-digit gains: Skoda (+16%), Volkswagen (+22%) and Ford (+30%), while Toyota (-13%) and Renault (-5%) skid in 4th place. Mercedes (+73%), Dacia (+35%), BMW (+25%) and Citroen (+16%) also shine in the remainder of the Top 15.
Model-wise, the Skoda Octavia (+18%) reclaims the top spot it holds YTD off the Skoda Fabia (-18%) with the VW Golf (+23%), Opel Astra (-28%) and Skoda Rapid (+27%) round up the Top 5. The VW Polo (+171%), Ford Fiesta (+154%), Skoda Kodiaq (+130%), Renault Master (+60%), Dacia Sandero (+47%) and Skoda Superb (+26%) also impress while the Ford Ecosport (#41) and Dacia Logan MCV (#44) break into the Polish Top 50 for the first time.
